Heat pumps
Heat pumps are a large part of the future for our domestic heating industry. We are pleased to say that after extensive and ongoing training - we can now offer air source heat pump installations as part of our service. Furthermore, with government grants available to end users - it is a great time to explore this technology as a viable option to heat your home.
Is it new technology?
Despite popular belief, heat pump technology has been around for decades. That said, recent heat pump development has drastically improved efficiencies and its effectiveness in just the last few years. All over the world, heat pumps are used to warm homes in much harsher climates than ours, in the UK.
Will it cost more to run?
If designed, installed and controlled correctly, an air source heat pump will provide cost-effective heating for your home. This can only be achieved through expert installation and advice. We have attained some of the highest level of hydronic system design training to achieve the best results for our customers. Isn't Hydrogen our best bet for our future heat source?
We know for a fact that we will not be installing natural gas boilers forever. The government have indicated that as of 2025, natural gas boilers will no longer be installed in new homes. In 2035 natural gas boilers will no longer be installed in existing homes. Instead of waiting for the deployment of Hydrogen into our gas network (who knows when or how?!), consider using the technology that is available to us today! There is great scepticism in the industry as to how pure hydrogen will be made available to the general population. It currently seems more likely that this will be a solution for heavy industry and areas that simply cannot accommodate other technologies.
